i thnk i walked around school all day with a blood stain on the back of my shorts. that is just so embarasing and then my friend just came to see me and i walked away and he was in the car, i know he deff saw that tho. like its overwhelming, what do i do to get over the embarasmenttt?
Just make sure you ALWAYS have extra, what I call personal first aid kit in your bag and always do something about it at the first sign of bleeding. Don't do what some people do, and just leave it until it's heavy because then you're just asking for trouble.
Also, don't ignore the warning signs that your body gives you that your period is about to start. Things such as cramps and your body temperature rising. [ Foundsoul's advice column | Ask Foundsoul A Question ]

I was wearing white pants once.
Don't worry--you'll soon forget. It's only questions like these that bring up those dreaded memories.
No, really, I think that the majority of girls have had the same thing happen to them.
No one will remember anyways. :) [ xwishonstarsx's advice column | Ask xwishonstarsx A Question ]
Daimeera answered Friday October 5 2007, 9:41 pm: Embarrassing? Yes. But I bet you at least a few other girls in your school have had the same thing happen. And remember, menstruation is a natural thing. It's a good thing. It's a healthy thing. It sucks that it was revealed to the world (if in fact people did notice), but you are a female. You are in the 50% of the population that menstruates, once menstruated, or will eventually menstruate.
Even if people did notice, they'll forget about it soon. Try to blow it off, hard as that might be. Laugh if you can, if they bring it up. If someone says something cruel, stand up for yourself. It's a natural process. Keep reminding yourself of that.
