dress thats too small
i have a gorgeousss black silk dress, but its a few inches too small. if i bring it to a tailor, could they possibly add onto it to make it bigger?

try black lace, add it to the bottom of the dress.

if theyre is enough room they can rehem the dress to give you a couple moe inches talk to your tailor before hand and find out how much room of adjustment you have

it's definitely worth a try. i've seen it done before. worst case scenario is that they can tailor it into a top or a skirt.

They probably could if there's enough material in the inside for them to work with. My mom sews and she only can when there's an little extra that she can unsew then make the dress bigger. It's worth a try. <3
