No boyfriend yet

my parents dont want me to have a boyfriend, I really like someone and he asked me out but my parents think i'm too young (high school sophomore). Talking about it doesnt solve it too. Shoulld i Go behind their backs?

BUT try not to slip in school or get really distracted by him cause then ull parents will figure it it out and bash you for sneaking around

either way, they're going to have to get used to it sooner or later, so if you really like this guy, then go for it! if they find out and don't like it, then that just sucks for them because they can't stop you from loving.

Tell the guy yes, then go home and tell your parents. Going behind their backs isn't a good idea. They'll find out and then it'll be even worse. Depriving yourself of dating isn't a good idea either. You need to take these opportunities and experiences. Take whatever punishments your parents give you, but guess what. They can't prevent you from being this guy's girlfriend if you really want to. Good luck.

yes, if you really like him i would go behind your parents backs....
thats what i did and it only turned out to be that they were worried that i was gonna spend all my time thinkin about him instead of my grades, but eventually i told them that i'd been havin a boy friend for like a month and they didnt tell a difference in my grades so they said it was ok.lol.......
if you're wantin to hang out outside of skool it's a good idea to lie to their face and tell them he's only your friend.
