eyeliner

Question Posted Thursday August 23 2007, 10:23 pm

I love using black eyeliner. I dont do it very dark or anything though. However after like not even like 15 minutes its already wearing/comming off and smudging. Any suggestions or any brands that work all day long? No links please! thanks :]

A lot of what makes your eyeliner smuge and smear, is caused by oil and sweat from your skin. I try to put powder under my eyes before I apply eyeliner to keep it nice and dry under your eyes.
The saying you get what you pay for has meaning on eyeliner too, so try getting a little pricier of an eyeliner. I suggest MAC.
Hope this helps.

What you need is waterproof eyeliner, it has more wax so it stays on better.

Try Avon Glimmersticks or Revlon Colorstay.

You could also try liquid liner or wearing a makeup sealer such as Benefit's She-Laq.

Well, first you should get like an eyeshadow color that's similar to your skin and will blend in very well. Put that color of eyeshadow around your eyes to prevent the eyeliner from smudging.

Liquid eyeliners usually won't smudge or come off.
Waterproof ones won't for a couple of hours.

I use Revlon's ColorStay Eyeliner. It really doesn't come off easily and it doesn't smudge much so I think you'll love it because I do & I've had lots of problems with my eyeliner smudging and coming off.

Liquid eyeliner is great because it stays put and hardly ever smudges.
