After parting ways from the movie today, my guy friend, Erik told me on msn tonight "next time we meet, i demand a hug! :D" what could this possibly mean?

Like if he were to say that he wanted a hug, then that could mean that he just wanted a hug.
But if he demands it, there is a pretty good chance he likes you.

A) he just wants a hug
B) he's starting to like you.
but i must remind you alot of people in the world just simply love hugs because they make them feel more secure and loved.
don't presume he wants more, because he might just be a hug kind of guy.
