Sleeping early So my summer's almost over and school's about to begin again. The problem is, I've stayed up soo late I have trouble going to sleep early or falling asleep! How can I go to sleep earlier, and how can I fall asleep faster? When I go to sleep it could take 30 min+++ for me to fall asleep so does anyone have any tips? Also, for school I'd wake up around 5:45 am or later (school starts at 7:10) and sometimes if I'm reading something or watching a clip or short movie in class, sometimes I'd kinda almost fall asleep and I'm really tired and it's hard to keep my eyes open! :| How can I prevent this or what can I do if that's happening to me? (Yes I know I have to sleep early so please say something else xP)

What hour do you normally go to sleep?
Knock off and hour and go an hour ealier you normally do. Each few days, knock of an hour. A daily time you go to sleep and wake up, it's easier for your body to adjust. ]

The real thing you should do is just go to bed earlier, I know you didnt want to hear that, but it works. If you dont listen to that, then try sleeping pills. (CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR FIRST!!!!)
Or do something tiring before you go to sleep, do something relaxing that makes you tired.

ha actually what i do is i take an allergy pill the night before school. because they make you sleepy and it puts me to sleep adn my mom said if i just do it once a year its not gonna hurt me. and after that im back on my normal sleeping scduale. ]
go to bed tonight like you normally would but set your alarm clock for like 6 am. and dont let yourself fall back asleep!! then youll be tired all day and go to sleep earlier and it should put you in a better sleep schedule. do it two or three times if nesecary. hope i helped. ]
I have the same problem. I get on a summer sleeping time & it's hard to go back to school time. My trick ? Take one night & stay up 24 hours (sounds silly), but don't take a nap or "rest". By the time 9 pm rolls around you'll be sleepy & just set your alarm to wake you up so you don't over sleep again. If you keep up with the pattern going to sleep early & waking up early too, by the time school starts you'll be fine :) With the falling asleep in class, I do the same. It usually happens when I'm bored with whats going on weather you're really tired or not. If you feel yourself starting to dose switch your body around, doodle on your paper just keep yourself enjoyed & the movie or reading time will be over before you know it. Hope this helps :) ]
