i have always waxed my arms and i have noticed they grow back slower and sometimes i can see patches where the hair still hasn't grown from. It will also depend on your natural hair thickness some people have really fine hair to begin with and some are more thicker.
as long as you stop now it will grow back to normal, try waxing (and the wax you do use make sure it's tea tree wax because that will not cause too much spots or rash, tee tree is known for it's healing properties and most creams that do contain it can be used as anti-septic.)
...or if you also want you can try those hair minimising lotions/ body lotions, there shouldn't be any harm in trying it, a friend of mine used johnson's hair minimising lotion, and she did say her arm and leg hair started to go lighter in colour. There is also another theory i've heard from my beautician that dairy products such as cheese (eating it) alot of calcium in take can reduce growth of hair, but people who live on chicken and meat grow more unwanted hair because you know how most chickens are not organic and get injected to make them more bigger has over the years caused an increase in hair growth. but until we don't find any research to back it up we can't assume it's true, it is only a theory.
but waxing is a good option, some people think it will be painful, but you know what they say..."no pain, no gain"
i hope i've helped..takecare!x [ RATZY's advice column | Ask RATZY A Question ]
kittaytoro answered Tuesday August 7 2007, 7:58 am: hey!
well there's no way to let it grow in completlyyy normal, but with time.
i'm assuming you used a razor, so it probably left stubble. if you're allowed to, try to wax the arm hair. this will actually allow complete new hairs to grow, which will bring them back normal.
that, and use ALOT of lotion. that will make the stubble or whatever you don't like, seem less visable.
but hold it out for like, a week or maybe two. the hair should come back normal?
phatdopelove answered Monday August 6 2007, 4:39 pm: When you shave your arms, they usually grow back fairly quickly, and your arm hairs will be thick and dark. So don't worry they will grow back in no time flat. Take it from me I shave my arms, but I shave them everyday just to keep it from being prickly. I also use nair removal, its great for the arms. Another suggestion is to wax it. But if you really like your arm hairs, then it will grow back fairly quickly, don't shave them again, and your arm hairs will grow back but sometimes they grow back darker and thicker. If you wait for your arm hairs to grow back and they appear darker, then you can bleach them, you can find this home kit at wal-mart in the hair removal section. Hope I helped. orphans answered Monday August 6 2007, 3:32 pm: Well there isn't a way to make them grow back the way that they used to unfortunately =[
But you could try getting a bleaching kit to make all the hair blonde which will make it appear better.
Your best bet is to try waxing your arm hair because waxing makes your hair come back lighter and eventually makes it stop growing.
ASAPcamille answered Monday August 6 2007, 2:41 pm: Hey, thanks for the inbox. It won't grow back normal - I am sorry. Do not shave them again, or it will just get worse. If you dont like the color of the hair, you can buy an at home bleaching kit.
