eyeliner?
ok, I want to start wearing eyeliner to school, but my mom thinks that eyeliner is only for a date or if your goth or something. But not for regular school days. Is it normal to wear eyeliner to a public junior high? (i'm in 8th grade)

When I was in 8th grade, tons of girls in my grade wore eyeliner. Not just 'goths' either, its just a girl thing. As long as you don't over-do it, I don't see what the problem is. You can look up some styles on how to wear it, looking naturally of course, online, try it out, and show your mummy. Later on, you'll want to experiment because there are wonders you can do with make-up to look absolutly BEAUTIFUL =] But until then, just stick to basics!

I started wearing it in 8th grade or so. If she does not like black eyeliner, try brown eyeliner. It is a lot more natural.
Put some on, and show her what you look like.

it's completly normal to wear eyeliner, and other kinds of makeup to school! as long as it's not way too thick, it makes a very sophisticated, beautiful look come out in your eyes. i know many girls who wear eyeliner from the eigth grade.
and you don't have to be goth to wear it, aha. well, best of luck with your mom. :)

I started wearing eyeliner in 8th grade. Most girls I knew did, too.
It's not only for if you're goth, either. You can wear it just a little bit and still look normal. A lot of people wear it daily, for school, a date, or anything in between.

A lot of girls wear eyeliner in 8th grade. Of course, some girls pile it on pretty heavy, and that's probably what your mom is opposed to. If you're able to use it lightly, in a way your mom thinks is okay, she might not mind. Ask her to take you to the cosmetic department where they do makeovers and have someone "teach" you how to use eye makeup in a way that both you and your mom like. Even if you already know how to use it, this might make your mom more comforatable with the whole thing.

Yea, eyeliner is completely normal. If you havent worn eyeliner much in the past, dont go full out at the start, gradually go into it, like dont wear it every day at first. And dont go really realy heavy. Also if you feel kinda uncomfortable wearing it, have a friend wear eyeliner with you. Youll be surprised how many kids really do wear eyeliner.
