cosmo girl and 17

Question Posted Sunday July 22 2007, 7:59 pm

If you had to choose between CosmoGirl and seventeen magazine...which one would you choose? and WHY?

I want to prescribe to 1 of them, but I really like them both. Help?? I need opinions!

if you have other favorites, please tell me! But if it HAD to be between those 2, which 1 would you choose and why? thank you very much!

sorry if this isnt exactly "advice", it's more of an opinion type question.

I have prescribed to both. In both of the magazines I had a paper that where you can get them both for $15 for a yr. But I got mine last
yr. for $12 since it was near christmas. I prescribed both because, I like them both and it would cost less to buy both of them from the newsstand. 17 has good dieting tips and exercises and also good fashion tips while cosmogirl has interesting stories and accurate horoscopes. So I have both magazines, so it wouldn't be so hard to choose, they're both great magazines to have.

I would say 17. I don't read either regularly (I prefer people magazine) but i think cosmo is too into gossip where 17 has more practical things like dieting tips and stuff like that. cosmo is something that like once the next one comes out the old one is old news but 17 has things in it that you can keep and always come back to

I LOVE 17! So I'd choose that one, because its more what I like. It has amazing stories- break up & embarrassing stories. Also, it has those quizzes which I love. So I'd choose that one. It has good fashion tips too.

People's also good.

Depends on your age. I personally prefer CosmoGirl because it has more things for my age, as where Seventeen is for, like it says, more older teens rather than middle aged teens I guess?Cosmogirl also has more celebrity stuff I think, which I like (at times). But they're both good magazines in general. I'd just choose CosmGirl if I had to =]
My other favorite is Teen Vogue. Have you checked that one out? It has a lot of good fashion stuff and some good news type stories. By that, I mean, stories like, I remember they had one on internet predators, one on vegan diets, and cool stuff that you normally wouldn't care for. But they write it really interestingly (new word?) hehe.
Good Luck && Hope it helps!
