I've been getting this clear like goo stuff in my underwear (i think it's called discharge?)

well I know it happens before your period... but how early? like how long does it take for your period to begin after that?

I get it on and off during the whole time i am not on my period.. it usually gets at its heaviest the week before my period and starts back up very light a few days after my period ends... it all depends on your body and will vary from person to person a little bit

It could be anywhere from 2 days to 2 and a half weeks. It's different for everyone. I usually get discharge a week before my period. There's no specific time, but keep pads around because you could get it any time.
