ALWAYS STARVING yesterday and today I have felt starving 24/7 no matter what. Like i'll eat a meal, then feel really painfully starving 2 hours later. (or less)
But before 2 days ago I rarely ever felt hungry!
What's wrong with me?
this is driving me insane b/c i'm on a diet and this is making me gain weight.
im a vegeterian if that helps.

You're probably not getting enough protein. Stop dieting. Bump up your calorie intake by 200 and take tums when you have stomach pain.

you might be having a growth spurt. but if you don't look like you've gotten any taller, tell your parents. ]
Yeah, diets can be hard sometimes. Your body is probably still craving the things that you are trying not to eat, or getting less of. One way to ward off the hunger pangs is to always have something with you to snack on that has some protein in it... yogurt, trail mix, nuts, that sort of thing. And always have water on hand to drink... it's always great to drink a lot of water, plus it will fill your stomach in a little more. Hang in there! ]
Eat in small meals. It helps you to lose weight.
If you dun like the idea of eating in small meals, then have a more filling meal such as carbo rich meal. I know that carbo contributes to body fat but having one filling meal beats a hell out of getting hungry again 2 hrs later ]
You might not be getting the nutrition you need! Try eating more, like small snacks inbetween meals, you can still eat and be on a diet - just eat healthy :) ]

Perhaps you're going through a growth spurt. You body might require more energy and is therefore saying "EAT!" so it can get the energy it needs. ]
It could be many things, but one of the more serious things is worms. Worms live in your stomach and feed off of what you eat. Over time they take away all your nutrition and can kill you. Wait several more days, and if this still happens and you're worried, ask a doctor what could be wrong with you. ]
Hmm well if your a vegiterian and your always eating..then it should'nt affect you any.But if your eating other things..then that's whats going to ruin your diet.Perhaps your just going thruogh a stage in your life that's making you want to eat constantly.Like maybe your upset about something? Because that could be causing it.

Your body is just hungry. Your metabolism must be somewhat fast if you're hungry only an hour or two after a meal. Even though you are on a diet, you need to eat more. Eat fruit & veggies when you're hungry & try eating eating every 3 hours. This doesn't mean pig out though. Stick to fruit & veggies. Also, try drinking water every hour or so. You should probably have at least one bottle with every meal. It will fill you up. For dinners, try having 3 portions. Since you're a vegetarian, I would suggest a veggie, a salad, & some kind of side, whatever you'd like. Water helps fill you up though.
