My health teacher told me once that if yellow dye 5 does actually reduce sperm count, its impact is less than 1%. Something about lab rats, too- I think it caused a lowered sperm count in mice or something? haha. I highly doublt you're a mouse, since you asked a question.
It's not something to worry about- the sugar will kill you before the yellow number 5 does. And drinking soda should never be a form of birth control, in case you were considering that as a possibility. [ LM's advice column | Ask LM A Question ]
