my sister wore super red nail polish and when she erased it (and yes she did it good because my aunt used to work at the nail salon so she has everything at home) her nails were like pinkish red.
What's wrong? she scrubbed really hard and stuff but it just stays that colour
hottie411 answered Tuesday July 17 2007, 2:44 am: dont worry, nothings wrong with her nails. sometimes dark colored nailpolish stains the nails a little, so next time i suggest she uses a base coat before applying the nail polish.
the stain will come off by itself in about a week or so.
thelaura answered Monday July 16 2007, 9:56 pm: Darker and brighter nail polish colours tend to stain the nails for a while.
To avoid this, use a base coat. (A clear coat of nail polish will do.)
In the mean time, to get rid of the pinkish colour, your sister might want to try soaking her nails in lemon juice. It's a fast way to strip away the colour and make the nails white! [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
Sabine answered Monday July 16 2007, 9:51 pm: The key to avoiding that is to use a good base coat before the nail polish. The pinkness on her nails will fade away eventually (it took about 5-7 days at the longest last time I did that).
