i'm taking up skateboarding just to keep me busy and i was wondering what foot goes first on the board. i'm left handed and left footed so which one goes front?

Maybe give some free advice about: Sports? annon answered Wednesday August 29 2007, 11:19 am: i did it like this.. put the board on some grass or somthing that will stop it moving anywere fast, then just take a little run up to it and which ever way you feel more natural landing on it is the way your gonna go, and normally which ever foot is the one going forward is the one you should put on your board first allways push with your back foot if you cna help it (skating with your back foot on the board and pushing with your front foot is called Mongo try to avoid this its hard to get your feet into position for tricks and stuff) [ annon's advice column | Ask annon A Question ]
MCRxoLoVer answered Monday July 9 2007, 7:52 am: Normally, your left foot would go first, but if your right foot goes first its referred to as goofy. Just try both ways and which ever one you like best then just skate that way. But I hope you get really into it. I'm 13/f and I LOVE skateboarding. It's so awesome. Once you learn to skateboard pretty good then you should get you like one of the big company skateboards like element or birdhouse, or something like them.

I skate cuz I love it, it helps me get rid of anger, and their is nothing like just going out at night and street skating... anywayz do what feels natural to you, I am right handed, and I skate with my right foot closest to the nose of the board...
