My teacher told me that in order to transmit aids through saliva you would have to drink almost a gallon of saliva in on sitting ... which is unreal so you dont have to worry :D [ Juelz0587's advice column | Ask Juelz0587 A Question ]
Darkhelp66466 answered Sunday July 8 2007, 1:19 pm: absolutely not, aids is caused by hiv and hiv is only spread through, vaginal fluid, semen, breast milk and blood. don't worry about saliva. there's next to no trace found in saliva. [ Darkhelp66466's advice column | Ask Darkhelp66466 A Question ]
XxIzabellersxX answered Sunday July 8 2007, 10:01 am: You can get it from saliva yes but only if it's more than a few drops which would mean they would have to spit into the cup or backwash =) I wouldn't suggest you do it though. Hope I helped. [ XxIzabellersxX's advice column | Ask XxIzabellersxX A Question ]
christina answered Sunday July 8 2007, 9:58 am: Do they teach sex-ed where you go to school?
Answers NO. The only ways to get AIDS are:
- Sharing needles with someone who's infected.
- Child birth & breast feeding.
- Sex.
- Oral sex. If you have a cut in your mouth/oral area & vice versa, & you/the other person has AIDS, it's possible to become infected.
If you haven't done any of those with someone who has AIDs, don't worry. If you're not sure, get tested. In order not to get AIDs/STDs, make sure you wear a condom everytime. Protect yourself. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
