my friends all tell me i eat way too little, and im too skinny, but when i went to my doctor, he said, im close to below average, but still average. this is an example of how i eat daily..
BREAKFAST:
a strawberry banna smoothie. which contains like..
-1 cup ice.
-i strawberry, IT WAS KINDA BIG.
-1 banana
-1 cup of ice creamm.
LUNCH:
-half of a cucumber.
-with probably like 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing.
DINNER:
oh i had alot for dinner.
-half of a cheese sandwich
-some cherries. like 4 tops?
so i mean, is that not enough? i mean i only eat whne my stomach is growling.
MAK answered Sunday July 1 2007, 2:28 am: That is most definitely not enough. I don't know how active you are, but I am assuming you are not very active, because you will have feelings of starvation if that's all you eat. Here is an ideal meal plan:
BREAKFAST:
cereal, one glass orange juice
-kashi with some milk
pancakes, one glass orange juice/milk
waffles, one glass orange juice/milk
strawberry banana smoothie
-1/2 cup ice
-5-8 large strawberries
-1 banana
-1/2 cup milk
SNACK:
half a bagel/peice of toast/muffin
1 glass of milk
LUNCH:
soup/sandwhich/salad
1 glass of water
SNACK:
apple/cucumber/etc
DINNER:
each dinner should include
-meat/fish/chicken
-salad
-rice/mashed potatoes/etc
1 glass of water
DESERT:
fruit/cake/ice cream/etc
cup of tea/glass of milk/water
This could be a guide to your meal plan. Eating only when your stomach growls is unhealthy. When your stomach growls it means that you are very hungry, not just a little hungry. Eating small portions throughout the day is a lot healthier, and it won't make you feel as if you are hungry, and it won't make you feel as if you are uncomfortably full.
Because you eat so little, it may take some time to make such quick adjustments. Start out with very small portions, but do eat all the meals and snacks. Slowly increase your portions every three to four days, and you should be on your way to a healthy eating lifestyle. [ MAK's advice column | Ask MAK A Question ]

- Keep what you're eating for breakfast the same.
- For lunch eat a salad, or a healthy sandwhich.
- For dinner eat a small piece a meat ( weither it be, chicken, fish, or meat ) with veggies.
Actually studies show, that you need 5 healthy, small meals in a day. And 2 healthy snacks.
-For the snacks I recommend the cucumber and ranch, or any kind of fruit ( apple, peach, pear, ect. ) or you could try those 100 calorie snacks sold in stores.
orphans answered Sunday July 1 2007, 12:56 am: You should probably eat a little bit more. Just as long as your eating when your hungry and not starving yourself then you should be fine.
clairedear answered Sunday July 1 2007, 12:56 am: That is not enough, you need at least 1000 calories. Your meals add up to like a total of 600. That is too little.
