when a girl says i just need time to get over him cuzz it wouldnt be fairr,i just need time to think'what does that acutally mean and how long do i have to wait to get my answer? i asked her out today.
jagger4 answered Friday June 22 2007, 3:44 pm: There is no time limit on this and it depends how patient you are as well as how much you want her.
Bst to kno if it is a sex appeal or the real heart you have. I would say leaving her alone for a while, still letting her know that you are still out there for her will make her feel better.
when you have less communication and perseverance, she can become a bit agitated and might respond quckly.
Good luck then.hpe all works well. [ jagger4's advice column | Ask jagger4 A Question ]
HelpfulDan answered Friday June 22 2007, 3:04 pm: Hey There. Ahh the Lady problem.
For girls love isn't an emotion they can turn on and off, they need to conside what would happen if you were to "dump" her,and how hurt she would maybe become. I asked a girl out 3 weeks ago and she is still thinking about it. But i can wait, if your still waiting after a week or so, go out and talk make sure she knows how much you like her and try and reasure her that you won't hurt her.
queenhearts answered Friday June 22 2007, 2:20 pm: It sounds like she got out of a relationship and is in the process of moving on. She doesn't want a relationship with you right now because she doesn't want to have feelings for her ex while she's with someone else. It will complicate things so much.
I wouldn't ask her again any time soon. It really depends but if you really like her.. You should keep her close and continue talking to her. :] But don't pressure her into an answer.. because it will probably be a No until she gets rid of her old feelings. Razhie answered Friday June 22 2007, 2:13 pm: It means she has someone to get over and she isn't ready.
It also means she might not be all that interested in you.
You have to wait for as long as it takes, or as long as you choose too.
I wouldn't hold my breath if I where you. Most girls I know take more then a few days to get over a guy.
Leave her alone for now. Let her think. Ask her in week if she has made up her mind. If she says she still isn't sure, she might really be confused, in which case she totally isn't ready to date anyone or she might just be trying to let you down lightly. Do the smart thing and take her inabilty to give you a straighy answer as a 'No.' [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]
fiingersxcrossed answered Friday June 22 2007, 1:58 pm: wwo, touchy subject! if you allready asked her once, don't ask her again, because it will saound WAY paranoid, so hopefully she is a girl that moves on fast, if not you might have to wait anywhere beetween a week, to a month! i know its insane! it means that she just wants to wait so shes not hurting the toher guiys feelings! aparently shes a caring person! hope ervtything gos good! =D morgan, [ fiingersxcrossed's advice column | Ask fiingersxcrossed A Question ]
alwaysmile answered Friday June 22 2007, 12:40 pm: it means she likes you and him and can't date you because of her feelings for the other guy, which is completely understandable. and.. i hate to tell you this, but time varries and if she really liked him, then it might be longer than you're willing to wait. she'll have a lot more respect for you if you stick around, wait it out, and most important, don't keep asking her/ pressuring her to give you an answer. Volleyball2150 answered Friday June 22 2007, 12:20 pm: I think it means that you asked her out too early. Did she just break up with her ex? if she did, she means that she needs more time to think about it. The reason why she's saying its not fair, is because it won't be fair to the ex. the ex will see that she dumped him for you because she agreed to go out with you so soon. Give her some time....
