hotie91292 answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 1:42 pm: take him out to do something that he usually really enjoy with a group of friends. dont do anything that would remind him of the gf. just try to let him have a good time [ hotie91292's advice column | Ask hotie91292 A Question ]

I mean yea you can always say the "you'll find someone better" "it was her loss anyway" and things like that, which help too, a little. but sometimes people just need someone to talk to. a shoulder to cry on. someone to grieve with them. grieving is a necessary step in getting over hardships, and even though its not very fun, it helps a lot in the end. So just make sure he knows that you're there for him if he ever needs to talk, or anything. And make sure he knows that u won't laugh at him if he's sensitive right now or even if he cries. Guys have a hard time admiting when there's something wrong with them or they're hurting. So just let him know that you're there, and everything that he's going through is normal for him to feel and it will pass soon. [ greenjellybean's advice column | Ask greenjellybean A Question ]
bernie_gabrielle answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 1:20 pm: this is a hard one....i was in a similar situation a while ago, except the girl was one of my best friends. say that she's not worth it. someone who does that to someone who cares so much about her is a total bitch.
