Brandi_S answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 11:28 am: The sun naturally lightens your hair, and doesn't cause the damage like dye, or even something acidic such as lemons.
Try to spend a lot of time in the sun this summer, even if it is just sitting in your back yard listening to the radio or reading a book.
Just be sure to use sun screen! The sun's rays damage and age your skin!
hco_babe answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 10:04 am: squeeze a little bit of lemon all around your hair, then go lay out in the sun for about an hour. your hair will look a whole shade lighter. [ hco_babe's advice column | Ask hco_babe A Question ]

(my sister tried it). what works good is washing your hair then go outside in the sun and let it dry in the sun and it will come out lighter. i have dirity blonde hair and when i do that my hair gets blonde. hope this works for youu.
Erinn_the_bamf answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 10:03 am: Yes, lemons work. Squeeze lemon juice on your hair and go out in the sun. Also, there's some thing called Sun-In that you spray in your hair before spending time in the sun and your hair turns lighter. [ Erinn_the_bamf's advice column | Ask Erinn_the_bamf A Question ]
pinkers answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 9:37 am: You probably heard to put lemon juice on your head. But yea.. that doesnt work like at all..well i guess it works but it makes your hair really dry and damaged and it also makes it really sticky. I have never tried sun-in although i have heard it works and maybe you should give that a try!! Leave a question in my inbox if you need anythingg!!
kaydence answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 7:23 am: lemons are a mess. but you could try putting lemon and water together in a spray bottle, and tying that, or you could try sun in...jut be careful with it and put it where you want it...you can get it at any drug store.
