my dog is turning 10 this year. i've raised her since she was 6 weeks old. when she was less than a year, we moved her outside in a pen and got another dog who was a little older than her to keep her from bein lonely at such a young age. they've been together ever since. well, my older dog died on sunday. im afraid that my other dog, the one we've raised, is getting depressed. she doesnt seem to be eating or drinking any water. and she lives outside in the Georgia heat so i know she's gotta be hott and gettin hungry. i dont know what to do. i read up on dog depression and it basically says spend more time with them, take them to a dog park/day care, or get another dog companion for them. there are no dog parks around here, we cant get another dog because my mom said so, and i try to spend more time with her now, but i do work and have other things to do too, and she whines when we walk away from her, which she didnt used to do. i know she misses him, but i dont want her to get depressed and have something happen to her too. how can we get her to eat & drink again? I have these bumps like right in the middle of my boobs. I have prom coming up and they have been there for like a week. I wash it everytime I take a shower and I tried putting my proactiv on it even though its not a zit. Nothing seems to help.

i got bumps on my chest between my boobs and right along the sides of them in the middle too, they looked like zits but didnt pop and no amount of scrubbing made them go away.
my dr. told me it was sweat and directed me to expose my chest more to air and light and said it would clear up

It doesn't matter when it is said or who says it first, when you feel it, you should be able to say it to him.
Most first relationships, no matter how dreamy they seem, DON'T work out. But you learn alot from them. So just say it when you think the time is right. But don't be unrealistic.

Try combing it out wet and putting on a beanie until it dries, or wearing the beanie all night (shower in the evening, sleep on it)
This works especially for emo hair. You could try straightening on top of that.
Also, it is more healthy than blow drying your hair. Heat is BAD.

Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars is beautiful, you've probably heard it. Might not be what you're looking for but it's wonderful. Love the lyrics. Also Bush's Glycerine. I'm into alot of metal but I guess it's not what you're looking for so I won't go there. I hate emo/screamo and super mainstream bands like Nickelback so I can't give you any of that either, sorry.

Find out but don't let him know. Don't let him leave you hanging there on a leash.. you're a girl. It's okay to play a little dirty. Play the "hard to get" game and observe his actions, see how he seems to react to you being around other guys.

Tote bags are in and they come in a wide range of colours, sizes, and patterns. Certain colours work with almost anything but none work with anything. You can't mix and match certain patterns.. etc. But the point is, if you examine your wardrobe and see what colour you wear the most.. or what kinds of colours. (Light, dark, dull bright, floral, stripes, etc) you can find what works for you. No purse/tote will work with any outfit so it helps to have a few but based on your analysis of your usual wardrobe you should find what works. Fashion changes with the seasons though, don't forget that.

You have to edit it like that.. you could also take the picture in a dark room with light only on you, it's a pretty neat effect but I'm not quite sure it's what you're going for. Or you could just go have your picture taken, lol.

i am a blonde and i streaked my hair red...then a week later lightly streaked it blonde again, but now it looks orange with about an inch blonde roots at the top..i cant die it again right now because it will ruin my hair and make it break off(i only streaked it about 3 weeks ago)..is there any way i can cover it up without actually dyeing it again?

Not really. You can wear it a certain way to cover it up maybe, but putting anymore chemicals in your hair anytime soon would be very unhealthy. You should probably be more careful about putting any kind of chemical in your hair and next time try temporary dye before making it permanent. Sorry about your hair, but don't worry, it can't look too bad. I have naturally strawberry blonde hair so it looks pretty orange most of the time too.

okay for an english assignment we need to find a poem or song lyric that is like advice for willy. its basically advice that says he need to like sort out his life and figure things out and basically calm down and all that. I have this problem and my boyfriend lives like- 25 minutes away. Anyway, just use any excuse you can to see him. Anytime you're going that way, or you could have him meet you half way, tell eachother where you're going and try and manage to cross paths. If you guys go to school together you can see him there or see him after school.
My boyfriend and I go to different schools but when I stay for band practice I stay an extra hour after it's over and he meets me there and we hang out when we can.

(Maybe you could stay the night at eachother's houses? It's contributed tremendously to the success of my relationship.)

It can depend on what you're getting. I recently got Gardasil, which is an HPV vaccination to help prevent cervical cancer and it caused a sore, burning sensation all over my entire arm for about an hour or so after I'd gotten the shot- and I got the shot in my shoulder.

There's a huge chance that he is just shy, so if you give talking to him a shot and you're kind about it and open he's going to see that you're giving him the okay and telling him he doesn't have to be shy. Slowly but surely that should help him open up to you and you never know, you guys could have an amazing relationship.

Okay. So this probably sounds really dumb or lame but I’m worried... but okay.
Me and my boyfriend went to this party, and I ended sleeping over, as did he, so we shared a bed. I stayed fully clothed, well he was just in his boxers. We were kissing alot, and eventually he was on top of me (i was still fully clothes, and he was still in his boxers)..he was pressing up against me, and I don't know he came or not. Is it possible if he did, to get pregnant? I’m suppose to get my period around tomorrow or so and my breasts feel tender and hurting, which is how I can usually tell when I get my period, but could worrying about this change when I’ll get my period, can my body play tricks?

This has happened to me many times. It's not physically impossible- no. But it is very unlikely. As for the breasts, it's probably growth or your hormones.

My homecoming is coming up and I would like to lose some extra weight for the big night. I only have two weeks so of course I understand I won't dramatically alter my body but to just tone up and lose alot of water weight would be enough. Does anybody know any certain diets or exercise plans that would help me lose some extra baggage as soon as possible? I don't really care if the treatment isn't permanent [like detoxing usually leaves your stomach flatter, but I'm not sure how to do that?] because i really just wanna look good in my dress. please help me with any ideas

The Atkins diet will make you lose a good amount of weight pretty fast but you'll need vitamins to keep your skin and hair and nails looking healthy, and I warn you, when you're off the diet you'll gain the weight right back. Hope I helped you. :)

I have to do a school project on a controversial/ethical subject and I wanted to choose something other than the death penalty or abortion. I have chosen to do underage drinking. As part of research for the project we have been asked to gather different points of view about the topic and I decided Advicenators would be an ideal place to get some of these opinions/experiences.
If you could take a few minutes to answer these questions/give any additional infomation then it would be very much appreciated.
Did you drink when you were underage? (I know that the legal age varies in different countries, so just go with whatever the legal age is where you are). If so, how often? Where and how did you obtain the alcohol? I'm focussing a large section of the paper on the use of fake ID/asking older friends etc to buy alcohol for you, so if you have any experiences with that, then please let me know in as much detail as possible.

I've had alcohol underage several times. Always at a friends house where their parents had made it readily available. I know it wasn't exactly what you were looking for, but here you have it anyway. Maybe focusing on irresponsible parents would be a good idea, the number of adults that will help/allow teens to obtain alcohol is appalling.
