I have this weird sense of humor, and I laugh at a lot of things and everything is funny to me- like inside jokes with my friends and stuff...
And when we say something REALLY hilarious and stupid that makes me literally laugh until I cry, I can't stop thinking about it for hours or days or weeks or months or even years after it happened.
And these funny thoughts always come back to me randomly at the WORST possible times- when it's only appropriate to be serious. And honestly I can't control how my face turns bright red and I try so hard to hold back my laughter, but if it's really bad it comes out as sort of snickering through my nose, and sometimes i'll even sort of start to cry. Sometimes people notice it and then they just think i'm some weirdo.
I've gotten in a HUGE amount of trouble for it before. But I honestly can't control this i'm telling the truth!

Hey, I have a strange sense of humor, personally. For example: I used to have a schoolmate whose last name was Sledd. I just thought it was hilarious wondering if her dad's name happened to be Bob. (Get it... Bob Sledd... LMAO still to this day...)
Now, I would laugh about stuff like that at the most inopportune moment, and would occasionally be scolded by my teachers, but I NEVER thought there was something wrong with my mind.
There is nothing wrong with yours, either.
What is even worse, was I once had a laughter break-out in church, of all places, and no matter how hard I tried not to giggle, I couldn't stop. I would try to think of something non-funny, and I would somehow find that even MORE comical.
So the best thing I can tell you to do is when you feel a comic outburst, try to let it unnoticably come and go. Try not to allow it to escalate by trying to force your train of thought elsewhere, as I did (THAT was so very embarrassing...) unless you think it will work. :)
Other than that, be proud of your good sense of humor. There are too many people in this world who are too serious to know how to take a joke.

It's somewhat like me, where I think of it at a random time and just start laughing, right? So, if you want to control it, try to focus on other things and other situations going on with your surroundings. Keep your head in one area so you won't be distracted and won't get in so much trouble. If trying to keep your head in only one area doesn't work, think of something that interests your mind. It'll help a whole lot if you just focus on other things. Having a good laugh about things is really good and thinking about the past and laughing about it is good as well, so it isn't really bad that you laugh a lot. It's natural! :) Just focus and it might help. If it doesn't, I'm really sorry but I know for sure, you aren't mental. :) Mental people wouldn't bother asking for advice on this website. Well.. I don't think they would. Haha.
