I can't think of what I should say to her.
Hey, I just realized I like my best friend Alex. I have known her since we were in jr. high. But I don't know how to tell her I love her. Thanks for any help.

Hi there :) Thats totally sweet, there are a couple different routes you can take to telling her how you feel. The other advicers gave great ideas, I'll try to bring you a couple more.
1) Just come out and tell her, totally more easier said then done. This also might creep her out a bit, so I do not recommend this.
2) Start flirting bit by bit. Don't spring on her all at once, but hug her goodbye, say sweet things to her etc. Try to get her attention.
3) Invite her to hang out on a walk. While walking try reaching to hold her hand. Its a simple, sweet gesture that will get the message across. When you feel comfortable admit to her that you have fallen in love with her over the years, and it was important to you that she knew.
4) Leave her flowers at her house with a small card that invites her on a date. On the date, express your feelings.
I also really like the movie idea the previous advicer gave, its really a great suggestion because it doesn't take too much nerve to do.

aww. thats so cutee. well if you really want to get her heart. do something extremely cutee. such as call her up one afternoon and be like what are you doing tonight? and see what she says if she says nothing, invite her over to watch a movie just the two of you and when your watching the movie try putting around arm around her see how she reacts. and when your movie ends be like here i want to show you something and go out back and star gaze. that is the cutest thing ever a guy can do with a girl. and then when your looking at the stars tell her how you feel just bring it up easily such like start it out with something like alex you look really pretty tonight. and see what she says. but dont really say anything more but then once she leaves send her a text that says something like i had a GREAT time tonightt =] and see what she says and then you can say something like alex it might sound crazy but i think i like you. and see what she replys.

Tell her that you've been friends for years and value that friendship. Point out to her that friends should be able to tell another friend anything without losing the friendship.
Make her promise not to get annoyed with you no matter what you might say before hand. Tell her you like her and was hoping to start a relationship but didn't want to wreck your friendship. She should be okay with this admission even if she doesn't want to pursue one.
At least you'll know where you stand. Best-friends whether male or female should be able to handle this kind of thing and keep on being friends regardless of whether they end up in a relationship. Either way, it will make your bond stronger and perhaps closer.

you can ask her to get a milkshake after school. once you get there say i have something to tell you. all the times i've known you we've connected really well and got along great. you are a really great person. but what would you say if i told you i liked you more than just a friend. i'm not going to sit here and lie to you... i love you alex

whatever you do don't spring it on her and be like alex i love you! just start hanging out with her and flirting a little see if she flirts back. if she does it doesn't mean she deff likes you but some people are just flirts but there could be a chance. just ease your way into it and then when you feel ready ask her out
