rubberduck answered Saturday June 30 2007, 6:00 pm: HUN!! you need to relax...i am completely terrified of bugs, and get paranoid if i see one and feel like they are crawling all over me!! But, if you only see one, don't sweat it, chanes are hes the only one!! if you start to see more and more of them, then you can call a big bad bug man! Don't waste your money on whats not there (like paying an exterminator to kill bugs who don't exist) So just relax, but if you feel you need to call a bug guy, don't hesitate, your first instinct is normally right!! hope i helped!!

COLEvsWORLD answered Monday June 11 2007, 6:20 pm: if i were you....(and i guarentee i hate bugs more than anyone!!) i would call a bug man, like to spray the house inside and out like i do every month. and to reassure you and help u sleep, have a good clean. it will put your mind at rest and let you KNOW there is nothing in the house so you'll feel secure.
good luck xxx [ COLEvsWORLD's advice column | Ask COLEvsWORLD A Question ]
NinjaNeer answered Monday June 11 2007, 1:02 pm: Did it look like a sort of centipede thing with a ton of legs? We get those a lot in Southern Ontario. I have no idea what they're called, but they're harmless. No need to call an exterminator!
They seem to usually come out of drains. Apparently pouring Borax down the drain helps. Other than that, get a good smashing stick put together. [ NinjaNeer's advice column | Ask NinjaNeer A Question ]
Michele answered Monday June 11 2007, 12:30 pm: Well, where to you live? The Mid west of the US is being hit with year with the "17 year cicada".
It is a HUGE but, with wings, very ugly, red eyes! They make loud clicking sounds. They are harmelss and don't live long, but ewww, I wouldn't like it either. Supposedly millions and millions of them are to be born this year, and right around this time. You can see one I'm sure by going to google and typing in
cicada, or seventeen year cicada.
I would try to catch it in a towel and put it outdoors.
