ok... i was in salt water for a while, and for a while i mean more than an hour. Well my breasts like really really hurt!! like almost to the point of me wanting to cry.It was mainly the nipple. Does the salt water have anything to do with it??
And one other question- i have these purple marks (like lines) on both of my breasts and i was wondering what they might be any ideas??

this happens to me too. i know how much it hurts. its the salt that stays in your bikini and it keeps rubbing and rubbing and hurts. theres not much u can do about it though. it just sux. after your out the sea though, get a water bottle and pour it on your breasts. thats what i do and it helps a bit, otherwise it just keeps rubbing.

ok if ur gunna do guitar lessons, you have to stick with it. at first you can get bored or angry, but seriously, DONT QUIT! its all worth while. and if your learning from scratch, you'll have to learn all the chords and names of everything and stupid "what shall we do with the drunken sailor" songs. but after that its really good. you cant really be bad at playing guitar? its pretty easy. and this is one of those practice makes perfect things, really. i took lessons to learn the basic stuff and chords, and now i self teach myself. im pretty good now but it depends on how much practice you do.

there is a complete room devoted to fish. the walls, top to bottom are giant fishtanks. like in the walls, they ARE the actual walls, also the floor is a fishtank and there all connected so the fish can swim all the way around the room. also it has a cool tropical background, and all the fish are tropical and brightly coloured!
thats just one of my dreams ;)

i have been running cross country for about 6 years, and this is what i can tell you.
first of all, after you run, you shouldnt drink for at least 10 minutes, or until your breathing is normal again.
to answer your question: dont eat a lot. the best thing to eat is a gronola bar because it has just the right amount of calories. a peice of fruit is ok too, like an apple. and heres why:
when you run, your body uses up all the oxygen and there is none left for your muscles, so your muscles use sugars that your body has to form ATP, which is like an altennative for oxygen. when you stop running, it is the ATP that makes your muscles ache, and they ache because they dont have oxygen. eating something small allows your body to use the sugars to make oxygen for your muscles, and puts back what your body needs normally.
my coach brings granola bars to out meets and makes us eat them.
so yah, granola bars, apples, banannas, even a chocolate bar.

if i were you....(and i guarentee i hate bugs more than anyone!!) i would call a bug man, like to spray the house inside and out like i do every month. and to reassure you and help u sleep, have a good clean. it will put your mind at rest and let you KNOW there is nothing in the house so you'll feel secure.

i really need some advice.

well...first of all its ok to break up with a guy after one day. you have to ask yourself are you in love with him or were you guys just meant to be friends? if so, you'll have to explain to him that you do like him a lot, but just think you would be better as friends, and you dont think anything will ever come of you guys, or something like that. and are you really over this old guy? if your not, you should talk to your friend about how your not over him completely, and she should understand. if you do like your bf tho, you should still tell your friend that your not comfortable with her going out with him, without saying you still like him.

i loove wearing eye liner. my mom doesnt want me to wear it. she was mad at me when i wore it to take pictures then she said to take it off. so i asked her nicely if i can please wear it she got mad and almost hit me. she said i was too young. but my sister is 18 and my mo doesnt even let her put makeup ,and i just want eye liner. she told me if i ask her again then she will hit me, and i know she will so i wont risk it. she is really strict. so since she doesnt let me i just wear it in school and take it off before i get home. what shoiuld i do? i know this is wrong but i just think that i look so pretty with it and it makes me feel prittier. what do i do? please help.

maybe you could get with your sister and just talk to your mom. tell her the reasons why you want to wear it, but if that doesnt work, i guess you could wear it at school, and then take it off, but that might be a bit risky, i'd talk to her with your sister first, or maybe talk to your dad to help persuade her??

I have this best friend, well she used to be my best friend. we haven't been friends for a couple of weeks. but we were friends since first grade, now in 10th. ever since her family came into money she's been acting like a snob, like she's better than everyone. and she's been really spoiled and bitchy. she doesn't even know the words please, thank you, or sorry and she thinks that everything is always someone elses fault. It got on my nerves to the point where I don't sit with her at lunch and don't talk to her. But we've been friends for 10 years and I don't want that to get ruined... by bitchyness. what should I do???

heres what i would do in this situation, i would make sure you have time to speak to her (not just between classes or at lunch) if your really going to talk this over, you'll need some time and quiet. tell her that you think she has changed, but in a nice way, dont use the words bitchy and stuff because humans react to that negitively naturally. Tell her you think its stupid that your not friends and want to still be friends. remind her of the past and everything you've been through since 1st grade. Tell her whats been bothering you about her by just talking, and then ask her if she has anything to say or add to that. Try not to get into an argument. stop before that happens.

well last week i was having severe pains in my lower abdomain and the school nurse suggested it may be an ovarian cyst. i had been having all the sypmtoms of one for the past couple months, so my mom took me to a normal doctors. but since i was under 18, im 15, my mom had to come in with me. im going to a gyno wensday and its my first time. what im wondering is are all gynos like planned parenthood (everything you tell them is confidental & your parent doesnt have to come in). because i really want to be truthful with them but if my mom found out i was sexually active...yeah. also, what should i do/not do in order to prepare for it. thank you (link)

when you go to the gyno, your mom doesnt have to come in. i've been to one and she wont come in if you dont want her too. just tell her you dont want to or dont feel comfortable and she will completely understand. but you might have to mention to the gyno not to tell your mom!
