LoveNJstyle answered Sunday June 10 2007, 12:04 pm: honestly, stuff on sale at AE is cheaper than at kohls (unless it's a REALLLY good sale). i got a shirt at kohls that was ae-ish and it was originally $24... more than at ae. i got shirts at ae for $3, not kidding.
try tj maxx, ross, target, and charlotte russe. <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]

They have American Eagle types of clothing at Marshalls, Tj Max, Kohls, Macys, Sears. Target, WalMart, Kmart.
There is this really cute site www.gojane.com and they have really cute, inexpensive clothes.

christina answered Sunday June 10 2007, 12:54 am: I agree with Laura. Kohl's has nice clothes at affordable prices. Some stuff can be a little expensive, but that's expected -- no?
I'm not sure what types of stores are in New Jersey because I'm in New York, but maybe try Wet Seal or Rue 21. They both have nice clothes at good prices. Try TJ-MAXX as well.
Other than that, just check the clearance racks because there's usually really cheap stuff. And there's nothing wrong with Wal*Mart or Target. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
LM answered Sunday June 10 2007, 12:03 am: I like Kohl's- you can often find similar style shirts there for a LOT cheaper, especially during a sale. Plus, check the clearance section at both AE and ae.com. My friend got tank tops for 5.99 once.
Also try Hollister clearance [tank tops especially] and even stores like Target. Shop around and keep an open mind.
