I'm pretty sure many places don't hire at 14 so until you reach the age of 16-17, you'll need to babysit & do extra chores around the house.

Not many places will, but Publix will hire 14 year olds to bag stuff. If that's not what you're looking for, there's always babysitting jobs. :)

Usually in almost all states you have to be at leasyt 16 years old to get a job (this is because of the Child Labor Laws that are in place). You could try babysitting, petsitting, housitting. Often times neighborhoods and subdivisions offer a monthly magazine where you can add your name to a "list". :)
