pink eye

Question Posted Thursday June 7 2007, 10:42 pm

i was wondering what you should do if you have "pink eye" or in other cases [conjunctivitis]. What would be some good techniques if i wanted to get rid of it soon & what should i put on my eye, etc. What activities should be avoided?
Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks :]

lol u staying up all night, drinking ? not enough sleep? that can cause it. If its bloodshot with visible veins then that is the most likely answer. also were you swimming in a highly chlorinated pool, or the sea and opened your eyes under water alot? any of these, and theres nothing to worry about because they will go away in a few days..

I had that once- it really sucks.

DON'T RUB YOUR EYE! If you do wash your hands immediately! You can spread it to your other eye, and to other people, it is contagious!

I had to see the doctor and get prescription eye drops. I strongly advise you do the same.

I would see a doctor about that. Visine might just make the infection worse. Don't do anything to it until you make an appointment. Your doctor should prescribe you something for that.
