At the beginning of the year, my "splits" were like 3 feet high and I just couldn't stretch anymore. Now, I'm almost on the ground. If you try and do a split once a day, or even just a few times a week, I guarantee you'll improve a lot. It's like running; the more you do it, the faster and longer distance you'll be able to run. Good luck! [ beckyboo's advice column | Ask beckyboo A Question ]

I've never tried it, but she claims she has, soo try it out, && goodluck x3jessikah [ xjessikahxmx09's advice column | Ask xjessikahxmx09 A Question ]

I've been dancing and in gymnastics here for about 11 years. the easiest way is to warm yourself up.. a jog? however you want to loosen up your muscles and then stretch for 30-45 minutes stretching your legs.. then slowly work your way into the splits.. each day try holding however low you can go for at least 15 seconds and slowly move the time to about 35 seconds.. it's going to take time.. if you need any good "stretches" let me know i have pleanty for the past years..
