im gaining weight.
lately i've been gaining weight.
last year i was 108 pounds. this year i'm 117. did i gain too much weight? (i play soccer all year long)
also if im 13 and 5`3 and weigh 117 pounds, would you consider me chubby? just tell me the truth and dont judge it on BMI. i don't look chubby but damn, i used to be soo skinny.
what can i do besides running/jogging to lose weight? I want to have a flatter stomach if possible. and what are good foods to eat?

Well Maybe its what you eat because...if you excersise good but you eat the wrong things than that is it...I did the same thing...Dont stop excerising but dont excersise too much that you lose it. Good things to eat are like fruit and veg. and Stuff that doesnt have alot of cheese salt sugar and dairy products but remember you are beautiful and never forget that and OH YEAh...if you play soccer that you might have got some muscles and muscles way more than fat.

I'm ur same age and I'm 5'3 and I weigh 185 but I don't look fat either and u should go 2 the doctor to maybe get some dietary palns ]
to lose weight,
dont eat a huge meal 3 times,
instead keep consistently eating
and 117 is avg., but i think its
mostly muscle that you developed

yeah thats completely normal. it happened to me around that time too. you usually gain a lot of weight the year that you get your period. so you probably got it this year or youre going to get it. just try really hard to eat healthy. do lots of crunches to keep your stomach flat. ]
if you are playing soccer all year you probably gained some muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat.
117 is okay. not everybody is stick thin and your only 13, your going through puberty and this is the time when you have growth spurts and gain alot of weight.

No. The weight you gained was either from gaining muscle [from soccer] or not watching your diet. Either way, 9 pounds isn't that much, so don't freak out. You're fine.
And...No. You're not chubby. Stick to foods that are low in fats. Eat fruits & veggies & stay away from sodas. Drink water & you should be fine. ]
this is totally normal. your growing up, and growing in height and weight goes along with that. 117 at your age is perfect. you are acutally considered underweight. if you do want to lose weight though, i would sugest doing crunches for a flatter stomach and lunges for losing weight in your legs. stay away from fried foods like chips, and cut out ice cream and sodas as well. eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. =] i hope i helped and if you have any other questions im here for you. ]
