It worked for me, and all of my friends. I saw a difference within a month or so, I was so happy when it helped, because before that, I tried everything, and some people said "try Neutrogena" Well, that never worked for me. You should definetly try Proactiv, it's a little bit expensive, but it really does work. Also, they have this medicine that can clear a pimple in one night, or make it less noticable and it's called "Refining Mask".
Hope this helped you. [ xkaye's advice column | Ask xkaye A Question ]

Crush an aspirin and then ad pure lemon juice to the aspirin until it makes a semi-thick paste. Dab the mixture on each individual pimple and leave it on for about 20 minutes. The acid will help heal the pimple and reduce their size. Rinse off with warm water and repeat the process twice, maybe three times, a day.
xokristabelle answered Sunday June 3 2007, 10:18 pm: ProActive is fairly pricey.
I recommend Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment, it's seriously amazing. Gets rid of pimples before they get big and with it I've had huge zits clear up overnight. It's about $6 and you can buy it at drugstores, Walmart, Target, and Drugstore.com.
solidadvice4teens answered Sunday June 3 2007, 9:12 pm: Acne usually doesn't clear up overnight but it can be dealt with swiftly if you see your family doctor who will assess how bad they think it is based on how you look now and on the history you give them about your problem.
I don't know if family doctors can prescribe medicated creams for acne or if only the dermatologist they refer you to can in the U.S. as I'm not from there.
You see, a lot of acne problems cannot be handled properly without seeing a doctor that can give you a prescription with medicine in it that actually eats away at the zits and prevents them from ever returning. Anything you would buy off of the TV or store shelves cannot and does not contain medication. I
It's only good if you have a few little pimples and not a bigger issue or one where they constantly come back no matter what or won't for that matter disappear because they lack the strength and potency that is several times higher than that of any supermarket product.
My advice, see your family doctor and get referred to a dermatologist who can give you a medicated cream that practically burns them off. I've done this before and it took a week or two for them to leave and then you keep using it as a preventitive measue until the doctor tells you not to.
CheerCandi answered Sunday June 3 2007, 9:08 pm: everyone has different skin so acne cream works for different people. but proactiv worked for my friend(and some celebrities). i use clearasil. but the acne creams might work for some time but your skin will get use to it so use different kinds. and to your overnight question. my friend told my toothpaste on the zit overnight will help. (but i've never tried it) [ CheerCandi's advice column | Ask CheerCandi A Question ]
