hey, I did that last summer. And I'm hoping to do it again [lose another 30; I kept it off for almost a year so far]

What you've gotta do is eat a balanced diet. Go to [fitwatch.com] and take advantage of all the calculators and tools on there. Figure out your BMI [body mass index] BMR [basic metabolic rate= how many calories your body needs to simply function] and the How many calories are in.... thing. That'll help you with the next thing- keeping track of what you eat. For a week, write down EVERYTHING you eat- right down to three M&Ms after dinner. Add up the calories, make sure the amount of fat is in a good range, carbs aren't all refined, et cetera. Determine how much weight it's actually healthy for you to lose- you may acutally need to lose only 20 to be in a healthy range.

Exercise should combine something like running or walking [try to do 20-30 minutes most days] and work your muscles with Pilates, pushups, etc. Crunches are effective- and feel good too. The biggest thing for me, though, was making it fun. Walking with your friends makes it seem like you're not even working out- and before you know it, yu've wandered around town and walked five miles. As long as you don't view it as "Ugh, I HAVE to exercise" you'll stick to it and see results.

One last thing- don't weigh yourself more than once a week or so. Even then, don't get hung up by the number on the scale. Focus more on how loose your clothes are getting and how you FEEL in your own skin. Being confident is the most important thing, even if that means being five pounds heavier than nutritionists tell you that you need to weigh.

good luck, and inbox me if you need anything else!

crunches dont help, they push all the fat to the bottom ab, making it harder to get rid of it. but going running, that is the best, add extra steps in your day. like take the longer way to a friends house if your walking, and such.

well to gert rid of tummy fat-do lots of crunches. but eat healthy and go to the gym regularily. now 30 pounds is alot of weight lovey so i recommend a personal trainer who knows what hes doing. help yourself out with a diet. cut your daily intake into a hlf. get rid of sugar, fat, and carbs. no bedtime snacks either. and run in the neighborhood in the mornings
