TEENAGExHEARTS answered Thursday May 24 2007, 5:29 pm: for me, it just kinda happens.
i don't really think it through like where do i put my arms!
but now that i'm thinking about it. normally if the guy is noticably taller than you, his arms will go around your shoulders and your arms will go around his waist.
but if you are about the same size it doesn't matter. i have this guy friend that is the same height as me and my arms normally go around his shoulders and his around my waist.
helpachick answered Thursday May 24 2007, 4:47 pm: really either way.
usually it starts out as the natural impulse to have the guys arms around your waiste and stuff. but after a while either way gets more comfortable.

LM answered Thursday May 24 2007, 4:04 pm: Whatever's more comfortable. Usually the girl puts her arms around the guy's waist, and he'll put his arms around her shoulders. Guys are often taller (I'm not trying to offend any tall girls or short guys here, it's just a biological fact..) and this arrangement works out nicely.
x_s_a_r_a_h_x answered Thursday May 24 2007, 3:47 pm: It depends on how tall/short the girl/boy are and how what feels most comfortable.
Girls arms would probably go around the boys waist if they're shorter than them and guys either round the waist or shoulders, either's good :)
