theres nothing wrong with it...I'm one of the oldest kids in my class and I'm a Junior and about to turn 18...my best friend is a Junior and she turned 18 in February. Your age is fairly normal for a freshman...you might think that you're a year older than everyone else but chances are there are others...you're probably not friends with every single person in your freshman class...and theres a lot of power in being older...trust me lol...but as much as you don't want to tell the truth you're going to have to at some point...and the sooner the better...telling one lie can lead to tons of others and get you into a lot of trouble...you think your in deep now? if you keep lying you'll only get yourself in deeper. and truth be told...your turning 16...take some responsibility for your mistakes...you messed up and theres truly only one way to fix it...I don't care if it sounds harsh..its the truth...get some maturity and come clean before things get more complicated

first of all, your real age is actually normal for a freshman. i'm a freshman... i turn 16 this july. two of my good friends turned 16 this may. and there are four kids in my spanish class that are 16. if anything, everybody envies them because they can drive. think about it... when it's time for you to drive, what are you going to do? are you going to wait until you're seventeen just so your friends will think you're younger? that's dumb. people shouldn't like you/not like you based on your age. and your friends probably wouldn't even care. they'll find out eventually and be pissed that you thought you had to lie to them, unless you tell them at some point. if you're the same person that keeps asking questions about being a year older, chill out for a few minutes and take a deep breath. nobody really cares. honestly. nobody will think any better/worse of you. did you get held back a year or something? so did i. big deal, right? no. yeah, my spanish teacher asked me how old i was, so i could reply in spanish. i can't really tell you to lie because that will never get you anywhere. but you need to make this decision for yourself... when are you going to tell the truth? seriously. you don't have to make a huge deal out of it, but quit trying to hide it. it's lying to your friends.

uh you probably won't be forced to show your age at school. but people are definitley gonna find out, you can't hide your id forever!.. i mean don't you want your license and stuff? if you keep lying then you'll have to waste a wholeee yr. not being able to drive. and plus when you are sixteen then you can have a sweet 16 and all that. i know a really nice, well-liekd girl that is a freshman and turned 16 like a month ago.. she's n a relationship with a freshman who is 14 or 15 and it doesn't matter.

First off, why did you lie? There was no reason to. There's nothing wrong with being older. Some kids start school late & tend to be older than most kids. Some kids in the 10th grade are 17. There's nothing wrong with that. If you're in the correct grade, why does age matter?

Just tell people the truth. There's no reason to lie. I'm sure they're not going to care that you're going to be 16. Why should they? Age is only a number. Personality is what matters honey, not age.

Eventually one day their going to find out...you cant hide it forever...the only class I can think of that usually seperates people on a regular basis because of age is physical education because when their doing this standardized national testing you have to followed your age groups average results...what you could do is tell them you've always told them that you were 16 and they must have heard wrong...otherwise you have to tell them the truth...now with the guy it depends on how he feels about older women...some guys thinks its hott to date older girls, some guys dont like it...so it just depends...whichever it is good luck
