You just need to start working out, and if you start out small you'll have no problem getting fit. Once you're fit you can eat whatever you want, and actually only have to worry about not eating due to your metabolism being better at burning off calories.

Just try to stretch out, and google healthy stretches if you don't know how to. Unknown by most, it's strong joints that make some of the strongest people keep that in mind when you're thinking about how much it hurts, because you'll want to stop short. Stretching out hurts, and especially starting out.

If you can make it past stretching, then go for some sit ups. For the first entire week just do two sets of ten simple situps, and if you can do that OK then do 13 push ups. If you can't do 13 push ups then you need to just do as many as you can for the first week each day.

After the first week is where you should experiment, and try two sets of maybe 15 situps each day. The goal is to get to doing 40 pushups, and situps each day. By that point you should see your stomach get flatter, and your arms become slightly defined. It's really simple, and up to you: weather you want to be a fat loser who's just going to get fatter, or a nice looking fit guy. After two weeks you'll be glad if you choose discipline.

The only way you will get is by working hard at it. Exercise together with a good balanced diet (this doesn't mean starving yourself - this means just eating healthy) will be a very good start and should work wonders but bare in mind everyone works in different ways so you may see results quickly or it may take time but rest assured you will see results. :]

I would recommend joining a good gym if you are able to as they would be able to advise you on the type of diet that is ideal for you as well as an exercise routine that would help you get your body how you want it. The gym I am a member of is an expensive gym (or so I'm told) but they are VERY good for the price with having decent equipment and facilities as well an excellent staff who know what they are doing and are knowledgable in advising what routines to do for maximum results.
