Sabine answered Thursday May 10 2007, 12:46 pm: Brown is the color the menstrual fluid turns when it's old. Usually you get brown in either the beginning, when the uterine lining has been sitting there for a while and in the end when it's all shed and is ready to come out. It's just oxidation of the blood and tissue. Nothing to worry about.
