You can try to make a Buche de Noelle or bread, but it might take a while.

I'd recommend buying something. French foods sold in American stores:
- Orangina
- Baguettes
- Cheese/fondue
- Mineral water
- Croissants
- Madeleines
- Nutella
And those cookies that look like tubes, I can't remember what they're called.

If you can cook at all, you should be able to do crepes. They are fun, and you can make all different kinds of them. I recommend the sweet fruity kind for your class. Strawberry is a personal favorite. :-)

By the way, you can also get chocolate mousse at the store and follow the directions on that. It's really simple and only about $2.19 a box. Chocolate Mousse is definitely French!
