how can i impress a guy so he can like me? if its possible because i like this guy but i want to get closer to him before i ask him out?

You don't need to change yourself or do anything to impress him -- just be yourself and if he's worth anything, he'll like you plenty. You may want to put yourself in a situation where you could get closer to him, like joining a club he's in, or something like that, but PLEASE don't change yourself for a guy.

well honestly you can not make someone like you. if you want to get closer to him just be yourslef. flirt a little bit talk to him and treat him as a friend. then take it a little step closer. maybe start dropping hints that you like him like staring, flirting, smiling at him, ect things you do around a guy you like. see how his reactions are and make sure you take it step by step. if he starts to stare at you, talk to you all the time, and flirt stuff like that try to make him jealous al little bit. believe it or not thats fun and it makes him want more. dont talk to him all the time. once everything starts going well let him talk to you thats the key. believe me it works!!! i have recently tried it and its fantastic. also make sure you let him know you can have fun without him. it just makes him want to have more. after all this everything should fall into place. also give him a compliment every now and then. let him know you care. know if you want to impress him you know what they say: "Dress to impress." even if your in uiform you can spice up you out fit. i wear a uniform. You need to be nice to him and have a good sense of humor. Try not to monopolize whatever conversation you have, and keep it short at first. Learn good conversational rules, i.e., you ask him how his weekend was, or if he saw someone's concert or whatever. He answers and YOU LISTEN. He asks you a question. You answer briefly and HE listens. Be confident. Don't let anybody else's opinion wear you down.
Don't follow him. Nobody likes a shadow. Or a stalker. Don't say hello every day. Greet him every time you see him, but try to vary the way you walk to class so that sometimes, you don't see him. Try to wait and let him greet you first from time to time, then make believe you're just noticing him and wave with a nice big, cheesy smile. Not too cheesy. You want him to like you.

if you do a sport you can show off there, guys LOVE that so much. they find that impressive.
catch eye contact, talk to his friends, flip your hair, be loud, wear something totally adorable whenever you see him, have fun around your friends, then once he really notices you -- play hard to get.
if hes going to a social event for school try to make it so you can flirt with him there. and go!
i wouldnt ask him out, i would make him ask YOU out, unless your bold enough to do it. but usually if a girl asks out a guy, they dont go out for a very long time.
