not acting like a boyfriend.

alright. um..
i like this guy A LOT (we'll call him bob). he has a girlfriend & they've been going out for like more than a month. the thing is, they don't do anything. i never see them talk & they have only hugged like once. that's all the farther they've gone. my bff has been going out with this guy for 3 weeks & they hang out a lot, talk evweryday, are constantly holding hands, & have kissed like 4 or 5 times.
my problem is, is that i don't know if i could ever go out with someone like that. someone that doesn't act like a boyfriend should. so my question is, should i move on? should i wait for him? if i do & we end up going out, is he gonna act the same way? i just don't know what to think or do.

well it depends. if you and this guy are like BEST FRIENDS or yal can talk about anything. then you should be like "so have you and her ever kissed?" when he answers be like "how come you and her never hold hands or anything?" try to find out more why they dont do anything. myabe he's not that type of guy. but if i were you id just ask him more questions and find out more. so then, if you still like him then all i can say is keep trying.,.,

Maybe his current girlfriend doesn't like PDA, you never know how he's going to act with you as his girlfriend unless you give a relationship a try. If you feel as if it's not working out then you can break up with him. But if he knew you liked him and he asked another girl out, then maybe he doesn't feel the same way about you. It's your choice whether or not you should wait for him, but my advice to you is to not wait up for him, there are tons of guys in the world.

He doesn't seem like boyfriend material because he's more than likely shy. Either that, or he doesn't like PDA [public display of affection]. Who knows what they do together when they hang out one on one outside of school?
If you like this kid, then tell him when him & his girlfriend break up. If you were her & some girl told your boyfriend she liked him, you'd be pissed. So don't do that to her. Wait until they're gonna break up or are broken up.
And if he does act like this if you go out, then don't get mad at him. Just talk to him about it and I'm sure he'd understand.

so hes not really boyfriend material huh? some people do that maybe because they just want to be casual when other people are around. but you never know maybe they could act all romantic when they are alone. i dont think you should move on you could get a chance with him. they could break up anytime and then there comes your opportunity to get him!! so you should definitely wait for him. Ok maybe he might act the same way, but he might not even like the girl he is going out with. thats a good reason to wait for them to break up. Im pretty sure hes going to act differely if he goes out with you. and if he doesnt then he could learn from you. you could be the one in control for the realtionship and flirt with him, he will eventually do the same! but yea just wait until time goes by and see if his door gets to be the one opened!

hey, well it really depends on the guys history, not just how he is with that girl now. do some research on his past relationships. even if he is known to not act like a boyfriend, who knows, maybe you could shape him up. now im not saying change who he is completly, im just saying teach him to be more loving and more of the boyfriend type. maybe its just the girl that hes with now i just super shy and her wishes are to take things slow. just do your research and you should be fine. good luck.

Some poeple are like that in relationships. But it doesn't mean they're like that with everyone of them. Maybe he jut doesn't like her anymore? Everyone's relationship is different then the other, so don't compare them to your friends relationship. If you two were to go out and he acted the same way, let him know that you'd want more affection.

maybe they have something different between eachother, and they dont do that kinda stuff around you because:
A: they like their privacy and dont want pricks like you goin around sayin shit about them
B: they're shyer and just enjoy being together & doing those kinda things
C: hell maybe their mutated snuffuluffages and they enjoy mingling their snozzlehooffers together when their alone because their embarrassed.
