For coursework, Grade 12 was the hardest for me. I was so stressed out about getting into my universities of choice, and keeping my grades up, that it was really tough and stressful.
For relationships with people, Grade 11/12 was really hard. Because the classes you take start to specialize more, you may find yourself separating a bit from friends with different goals. That's really hard. You do make more like-minded friends, though. ]
Sophomore year for classes. A lot of homework.
Freshmen year with relationships because most people don't favor the freshmen.
Extra courses might be difficult. Most people that try out... usually stay in that class for a month and drop out. If you can handle a lot of work then go for it or if those extra courses are needed for a certain job/college then try? If you want to have some time to spend with friends/do homework, then don't take any more. ]
My classes Sophomore year were the hardest for me. I had hours & hours of homework each night, I hardly had any time for anything else. A lot of not so happy things happened in my life that year as well.
As far as relationships go, I think Junior year was the worst. I had a boyfriend with some pretty immature friends who tried to go out of their way to spread nasty rumours about me. Not fun.
I had a job Junior/Senior year, but it didn't interfere with school for me at all really.
I think if you're taking honours classes, you should be careful about adding onto your course load, because it was my honours English & Geometry teachers during sophomore year that gave me so much homework. ]
Experiences in high school are different for everyone.
I personally don't like school so much, but I guess it's okay. Nothing has been hard for me since I put my mind to it. Personally, I think that senior year would be the hardest. Lots of kids get happy that they're a senior & stop coming to class. They come whenever they want, & leave whenever they want & end up losing credit for classes they need to graduate. ]
The hardest year for me was junior year. The classes were definitely the hardest during that year.
However, the hardest year in terms of relationships was freshman year because I didn't really have any friends or know anyone. ]
