is it possible to have physical symptoms but not emotional?
because i have all symptoms for physical.
but absolutely N O N E for emotional.
is this depression or something else?
BrokenWings answered Thursday April 26 2007, 3:10 pm: I'd say its probably something else. There are a lot of illnesses and things that have the same physical symptoms, and the main feature of depression is being depressed, hence the name.
However, you can have depression if you feel numb, like detached from enjoying things, but that again is an emotional symptom.
I'd speak to your doctor about it and maybe he can prescribe something for the physical symptoms

We can only guess what may or may not be your problem, but your doctor can examine you and question you to diagnose what is wrong. [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]

You should see a doctor to make sure you don't have a thyroid problem. Then, if you have eating changes or sleeping changes, address those issues. Learning stress-reduction techniques will likely benefit anyone. Exercise has also been proven to help with many of the symptoms of depression.
marccwind answered Thursday April 26 2007, 12:21 am: usually that doesn't happen, it's usually just a mismatch of both physical and emotional problems, your most likely suffering from something else [ marccwind's advice column | Ask marccwind A Question ]
