Embassy Suites

Question Posted Wednesday April 25 2007, 5:09 pm

Okay for our yearly band trip we are going to dallas. and we are staying in an embassy suite. Is that a good nice hotel? I come from a weathly family and we usually stay in Waldorfs, Hiltons, Marco Polo, Etc, and i didnt kno what to expect. should i make reservations for myself at anpther hotel or will i be able to deal with it? Thanks and it may seem like i am being snobby but i really am not.

well part of going with a band is bonding and being with them so don't ditch... even if its not the amazing hotel you've always stayed at. that, and it might be far away from where everyone else is going which wouldn't be good. i'm pretty sure it's a nice hotel. i stayed in one a few years back and i don't have any complaints. i've stayed in other hotels too so compared to marriots & hampton inns & hiltons, they're still good. <3

Most Embassy Suites Hotels are either four or five star locations. The rooms are not cheap and their clientele is usually rich or well to do. It's an unusal choice for a school to rent rooms there as it's quite costly. The chain is operated by Hilton Hotels which is its parent company.

They have an Embassy Suites near us and it has indoor sauna, swimming pool, gym, racket club, ballroom, etc. etc. If your school is renting rooms out in one you are lucky. Having said that there is nothng wrong with the Best Westerns, Red Roof Inns, Super 8s etc schools usually book for students.

You're going be comfortable in either one. If you want to you should ask the name and location of the Embassy Suites they will be using in Dallas because this web site lists the amenities and shows actual pictures of how each room looks [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

That should be helpful to you as it's a guide to what you can expect. Regardless of what hotel chain your school books you'll be safe as they must have researched it and the area extensively.

I wouldn't dich it. It's a pretty nice place. I've been there before, except I've never been to the one in Dallas.

I agree with the person below. You really shouldn't go to a different hotel just because the one you're going to stay at isn't as nice.

I've always heard they weren't the greatest. If it were me I would stay in a nicer hotel, as in Hilton or something along those lines. but if you are able to hang with people in the hotel is it going to be that fun just by yourself in the hotel. go to www.hotels.com and search for hotels in dallas, texas. look at the embassy one and then if it doesn't look nice, look at the other ones near there. hope I helped !
