Hello im crying my eyes out because i think im over weight....i dont look it but the BMI thing says I am IM like 5'2 and like somewhere inbetween 127-130 pds....omg i hate myself...im thinking of anorexia.
MSMWBTUA1718 answered Wednesday April 25 2007, 5:50 pm: Don't be so hard on yourself. Anorexia is not the answer at all. If you think anorexia is going to help, all it'll do is make things worse. You can become way too thin, get very sick, your hair and skin will become very unhealthy, you'll start passing out a lot, you'll become to tired to do anything, etc. This can be damaging to your life, and i'm sure you don't want that. Honestly, your weight isn't bad at all. But if you want to lose a little weight, get some exercise, eat healthier, save junk food for special occasions. Do not become anorexic, live your life without letting that control you. everything will be ok. [ MSMWBTUA1718's advice column | Ask MSMWBTUA1718 A Question ]

i dont think your over weight and there is no need to go as far as anorexia cos it will just make you sick and make you feel more hurt then your feeling now. if your realli worried about your weight why dont you just try and eat healthy & exercise, you can put all your anger and hurt emotions into working out at the gym or playing a sport. even working out for an hour a day will release stress. if you eat healthy and exercise each day you might lose weight down to a size your comfortable with & it will also make you feel so much better about yourself. but dont over do it or halm your health cos theres no need.
hope that helped

You say you're crying your eyes out; relax for a minute, breath, and say F**k body image!! PLEASE, please don't do anything harmful to try to lose weight- it's a losing proposition and will only bring you pain. Listen, i know how much pressure there is for girls to
(a) be stick skinny, and
(b) to look " good," whatever that means.
Please, our society's perception of beauty is WAAAAY out of whack! It's unrealistic. Do not judge yourself on those messed up standards. You are perfectly fine the way you are-- believe me. You say you hate yourself.. DON'T. You have no reason to. I'm sure you are a beautiful, talented, capable, STRONG individual inside. Don't let these superficial things get to you.
And another don't- DO NOT even think for a second about becoming anorexic. It's unhealthy, and can lead to serious health complications, and even death. Yes, it really can.
Listen, if you want to be healthy-- eat right, get some excersize..it's as simple as that. But please don't overdo it. Don't compromise your health for a bunch of phonies who don't know what true beauty's all about. You are beautiful. [ ciao77's advice column | Ask ciao77 A Question ]
