amandaaxoox answered Monday April 23 2007, 9:02 pm: i have such pale skin so i have a really hard time getting color other than red. there are ways to make your sunburn turn to tan though. the more you moisturize the burnt areas the better, or your skin will just peel and you'll stay white underneath. also, and this sounds really weird but it works like magic, take a tea bag and soak it in cold water and then rub and press against the burns. it reduces the redness sooooo much and the brown thingies inside of the tea bag kinda darken that area of skin tooo! haha. and it's not bad for you either, use like natural herbal tea that has no extra crap in it. hopee this works for ya! <3 [ amandaaxoox's advice column | Ask amandaaxoox A Question ]
smichele427 answered Monday April 23 2007, 8:59 pm: if possible, limit the time you are out in the sun. i tan every other day for 30-40 minutes at a time. and i live in "the sunshine state".
use a tanning oil. (i dont like the one from banana boat. i use the australian gold bond one)
ammo answered Monday April 23 2007, 8:57 pm: Sunscreen would be a good thing to use so that you don't burn as well as not staying in the sun too long. Sunscreen is available in various strengths depending on your skin type and how sensitive it is to getting burnt in the sun - you should be able to get information about this when buying the sunscreen.
As an alternative there is always using those fake sun tan lotions (which I personally don't think look that good) as well as using a sun bed. :] [ ammo's advice column | Ask ammo A Question ]
xkatiex answered Monday April 23 2007, 8:57 pm: Fake tan!! You can buy it in a tube, in a foam, in a spray.. Its fantastic!
But you dont need to be tanned to be beautiful. Just remember that. [ xkatiex's advice column | Ask xkatiex A Question ]
