My best friend is getting desperate what do i do??
My best friend had been going through this really slutty stage lately and I'm getting really annoyed. She started to get this mind set that because i've hooked up with guys tons of times she NEEEDS to also (she never has). She thinks in order to achieve this goal she needs to be as slutty as possible. Shell go up to guys and like pull her shirt down so her cleavage hangs out!! Or shell ask them if they want a handjob! I've tried to tell her that hooking up is for people who care about eachother and not for fun (for me at least) but she tells me that I'm going at it all wrong.
Yesterday she sent a picture of herself topless to a guy friend and this is seriously the last straw. What can I say to make her understand that being slutty doesn't get guys!!?

If she wants to be a skank, let her. You've tried talking to her, and she didn't listen, so there's nothing more you can do. Just make sure she's using protecton with all of this.

Well, unfortunately you can't tell her that because half the time being slutty will get guys, just not for the reasons she may want. Ask her if it would make her feel good about herself if guys used her. If all guys thought of her was free sex. Then let her look at the situation through a guy's eyes. "hey I'm feeling horny, might as well go see [friend's name] for a hand job." Or worse.
I know exactly how you feel, it is the same with my best friend and I. I let her know I don't like what she is doing but it isn't my body so I basically say; here is what you're doing, this is the result. Yes I will be there for you no matter what, but I will be extremely disappointed if you make a mistake and you can't handle the consequences.
She may call you a hypocrite, she may get angry with you, but she needs to know that some guys don't give a shit about how the girl feels afterwards, and you do.

Well, there isn't much you can say other than what you already have. She chooses to be slutty- nothing you can do about it.
What you can do, is be a good friend to her and be supportive when her technique fails her. Be sure that she is educated on the dangers of unsafe sex, because you need to know that stuff yourself.
