If someone would say whats up? it means like what are you up to?
So you can say nothing, or likie homework etc. (just whatever you are doing)
orphans answered Thursday April 5 2007, 8:36 pm: when a guy says what's up, depending on the guy it means different things. Like if this guy is "popular" and he says "what's up" while nodding his head, he means hi in a kind of like "i'm cool" way. if this guy is your buddy (popular or not) and you are like say in a library reading and he comes over to you and just says in a simple way while going to sit down with you "what's up" then he means "hey what are you doing?"

xWACKYJACKIEx answered Thursday April 5 2007, 8:02 pm: Whats up is commonly used, even know everyone knows the answer. "Nothing, you?"
Thats what you should say. "Nothing, How about you?"
Or, "Nothing, Bored. & You?"
Something simple like that :)
