I'm doing an audition for my school's drama club and I have to memorize a Shakespearean love scene. Any advice?

romeo and juliet anyone? ask if you can audition with one of the other male/female actors trying out so you have a little back and forth goin on there. if not, try surfin the web for monologues. a monologue is a rant, a consistent chatter, almost a short speech.

Talk very loud, but make sure its clear. I am a actress who's been taking acting or 9 years now, so I have a lot of experience. Make sure that your pronunciation is very clear and that you put a lot of feeling into your monologue. Good luck, and tell me how it goes!!

Try to get into the character as much as possible. Talk loudly, and clear so they can hear/understand you, and have passion.
