Am I ready yet?

Question Posted Monday April 2 2007, 1:20 am

I'm 14 and wear I 34A...I will consider it small for my age, but I'm curious, am I done growing? What can I do to see that I am done? Someone said you rub them and see if they are around? Thanks!

You aren't even close to being done growing. You'll probably reach your full potential around age 21. The best way to tell if your breasts are fully developed is how the nipples are. Your doctor has lots of charts about the stages of nipple development. When they are fully developed, they will usually be a little smaller than the size of your palm.

i am a year older than you and a size smaller, it sucks. But your body doesnt finish growing until your about 21 yrs. old. And I heard your breasts change in size mainly when your 16 (idk if its true or not but i think it is)

You're not done growing yet, first of all.

Now, rubbing them won't do anything, secondly.

Hi Ready,

When you're female your body goes through a lot of changes, and it seems like you're always growing in different directions for the majority of your life. And even though it feels like its taken forever to grow into who you are now, there's still a lot of growing ahead of you.

The body doesn't do things over-night though, and most things, like breast development, take some time, and not all the rubbing in the world is going to speed up the process. If you're curious as to what size you're going to end up as, there's usually one definite answer for you: and that's your mother. Whatever your mom's cup size is, that's what you'll most likely eventually turn out to be. In some ways your body is your own, but in other ways, you inherit it.

Hope this helps!

I don't think you are done growing. You probably won't stop until your late teens. I am in highschool and most of the girls are still growing, as am I. Don't worry!

No, you aren't done growing. In fact, some people don't finish growing until they're in their twenties.

And rubbing them will not help them grow, or do anything to benefit them growing. The only thing that will make them grow is time, really. I'm the same age as you are, and one size bigger. I'm sure you aren't growing yet, so I wouldn't be self-consious about it. :)
