we STOLE condoms and got caught Now WHat Police too.
im 15 years old, and my friend is too. so today we went to the mall and since we were there for a LONG time we decided to go to target. we went to the Condoms area, just cause (lol) and we took decided to take them in the fitting rooms and look at them. the fitting lady was there too, but she didnt seem to notice. she was really rude too. we were just there, but my friend decided to take one. we left the rest of them underneath a clothing and left.
as we were about to leave Target, one of the people stopped us. as we turned around the fitting room lady was holding the condoms at us and started yelling. she was like "yall stole it. I KNOW YALL DID. its ALL on CAMERA"
we freaked outt
she took us to the police that was in target. and we were like begging not to tell our parents. the Police was like "you know yall could end up in jail if this was more major.why did yall steal this"
but he finally let us go.
everyone in target was staring at us and it was So embarrasing.
Our faces weer on the camera but they never asked for our names or anything.
I just dont want my parents or ANYONE at my school to know about this. it was funny, but still.

i disagree with the person below me that sounds hallarios me and my friends have stolen many condoms before jsut because we thought it would be funny you cant get in trouble anymore because they already let you go after they caught you for doing it that would be like the police arresting O.J. Simpson now for murder after he was found not guilty and who cares if people at school know it would be a funny story to tell and a memory you and your friend wont forget i mean in the end Sh!t happenes and you jsut have to make the best out of it

They weren't police officers in Target they were security guards. They didn't take your names so THIS
time you got off easy. I don't suggest doing it again because next time they will call your parents
and possibly the police. They could also ban you from the store. You can bet they will be watching you next time you go in there.
Nobody at school will find out about it unless you tell them. Next time you are curious about condoms, buy one or find an older friend who has one and ask to see it. You can get in trouble next time, shoplifting is a crime.

I think you should be more ashamed about what you did more then how your viewed in school if someone finds out about the incident. I am not trying to act as a mother to you I am just warning you that you can’t do stuff like that. Teenagers just like you can get put into detention centers for doing things similar to what you did in that store. Girls like you have been punished for running away, stealing, beating people up in school, drugs, and underage drinking. Those are a lot of common offenses and there are a lot more types of problems teens are locked up for. If you need a condom you can buy one it is not a wise choice to steal. Plus, when you go past the buzzer it will detect that the condom was not paid for. The price tag is still on the item. To answer your question unless they call your parents or if someone from your school spotted you then your reputation will probably not get trashed.

funny thing. theft is a crime and you should not steal. Why didn't you just pay for them? If you weren't arrested and the police didn't see your ID card I'd say your safe. However, every employee and police officer who hears about it will tell someone for years to come. Hope you don't live in a small town.

Don't think so , if they didn't ask for names their not going to tell anyone. If they were going to tell someone they would have asked questions for eg. your name age etc. So im sure they wont tell anyone and no one will find out unless someone in target knows one of you guys and decided to tell eveyrone in your neighbourhood THEN YOUR SCRWD. lol anywayz they wont tell anyone im sutre of it. Dont be afraid.

well, if the police know your names, then something more could happen, but if they let you go without ANYthing than i would say to just let it go, sure it was embarrasing, but you are fine now just DON'T DO IT AGAIN! haha o well, whatever, don't worry cuz they erase the tapes on the cameras after a while, no one is going to find out
