Hey. I'm really stressed. I think the "emo" stuff and the "prep" stuff is both really pretty. I have cut myself before, if that's what you want to call it. They didn't even bleed and honestly, I don't plan on making them. I like the way the "preps" dress but also the way the "emos" dress. I'm blonde and I have fair skin so I don't know how good I would look with a lot of eye makeup and stuff like that, but I really really like it. Also, I'm worried that I might lose some friends. I know my friends are supposed to love me for me, and I think they will, but I think that we may not be as close. What should I do??

sorry to be judgemental & even though i h-a-t-e labels, go with prep.
some people out there don't give a crap how close they are to you -- if you're gonna ruin their chance for being "popular", they'll stay the heck away from you till you go back to whatever they think is normal.
& if there's something i've learned this past month, it's that no matter how well you think you no someone .. you really don't know them half as well as you think you do. so, don't think they won't do something..
don't stress out about it -- honestly .. who cares? oh & if you go with emo, be prepared to have ten thousand people coming up to you asking you if you are. also, be prepared for rumors.
just .. go with prep. please -- it's just easier.

STAY WITH THE PREPS, trust me, you're in 7th grade now.. later, in highschool, PREPS GET FAR... emos.. just seriously, prepprepreprepreprepreprepreprep! i can't say it enough!!! emo people are awesome & all, but still...... if you get preppy enough, you can talk to emos with out anyone caring!

Hey, just letting you know right off the bat, anyone who's really emo hates to be labeled as that, and if you dress emo but aren't really, then you'll be labeled poser.
With that said, it's really your choice. You can go emo if you really want, but honestly, i hate to be rude but I think you'll be a poser. I'd stay prep unless you really felt like you shouldn't be.
Another thing you could do is kinda combine the two. Still be preppy, but maybe tone it down a little, and wear an emo sweatshirt something.

The best way for you to dress is to just wear what you like. What you are comfortable wearing. Don't try to fit into any particular "group". People are individuals. Stand out instead of blending in.
Regardless of what you wear, true friends will not
ditch you because of clothes or make-up. If they do then you're better off without them. :)

Hey, if you like both styles emo and preppy, then mix them up. Instead using all that preppy make-up, use the emo style. Its black right? then put black eye shadow on. Darker lips.etc. Pur your hair in a pony tail, or any normal or emo way you want. Then with the clothes, dress preppy. you will be mixed! lol. And if you are scared that your friends will leave you for dressing the way you want, then maybe they are not your realy friends. Real friends accept the way you are. Give them some time to get used to you, and tell them your feelings, on how u want to change that way. If they are your true friends, they will probably accept you sooner or later! hope i helped
