AskAllie answered Saturday March 17 2007, 11:47 pm: Ah yes. I've lived in Boston my whole life, so I can relate.
The only thing I can say about this is: it sucks. It's normal and tends to happen. There's nothing that can be done about it.
I would suggest instead of resenting the cold weather, savor it. Maybe go snow-tubing or something with friends to enjoy it.

LM answered Saturday March 17 2007, 8:17 pm: I'm assuming you live in New England. If you're surprised by this weather, don't be. Get used to it.
Everyone gets the winter blahs. Go outside whenever you see the sun. And get plenty of vitamin K, since you're obviously not getting the sun exposure you do in the summer. Exercise- sledding, running (if the sidewalks are clear and the ice is melted) go for a walk! Anything to get moving.
Or, stay inside and develop a new hobby for yourself - like reading, playing an instrument, or painting. If you're feeling REALLY adventurous, figure out a way to stop global warming that environmentalists won't b*tch about. Good luck with that last one!
runawayxlove answered Saturday March 17 2007, 8:03 pm: hey, the weather is something that you just can`t change no matter how much we want to. just try to embrace what`s best about the rain and snow. example: dancing in the rain or makibg snow angels. sipping hot cocoa by the fire and having movie nights with your friends. things will get better and warmer soon! blair_ok answered Saturday March 17 2007, 7:59 pm: It's the weather and you can't changer it. Just stay inside with some cocoa beside a fire or heater. That always gives me a warm cozy feeling.
phatdopelove answered Saturday March 17 2007, 7:52 pm: I've got the same issue. Down here in FL. if it's raining, I'm usually sad. But to help I listen to soothing music that I like. Try listening to music that is up-beat that can get you pumping,(in snow) at the house get cozy, watch a movie, make hot cocoa, have a nice warm blanket around you, make a fire & sit by the fireplace drinking hot cocoa, or make roasted marshmallows or make smores, call some friends over, or if that can't happen, offer to do it with your family. Play card games with family or something. Hope this helps, it sounds so good to me! [ phatdopelove's advice column | Ask phatdopelove A Question ]
